What people are saying about Positively Ballroom...

A thank you note...

Just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed taking swing lessons at your studio. We really had fun at our son’s wedding and had many comments on how great we danced. Ryan, you are a fantastic teacher and have a ton of patience. Thanks for giving us a passion for dancing!

We are certainly no longer uncomfortable dancing in front of people. We are looking forward to continuing with other classes like Carolina Shag and Salsa in the coming months.

Get Hooked on Ballroom Dancing!!!!

Taking dance lessons with Ryan is a great experience. He is very down to earth and easy to relax with. He tells you he will have you dancing in 10 minutes or less and delivers on the promise. I have learned shag, waltz and salsa with him and had a great time learning all of these dances. I have taken both the private and group lessons and found them all to be fun and a great way to get exercise. When I first started I only wanted private lessons because I was self conscious and shy but it did not take Ryan long to talk me into trying the group classes and I found that I had a really good time in these as well. Ryan is a great instructor and although I can no longer take lessons on a regular basis because of my work schedule I try to schedule a class with him when I take a day of vacation. I have also found that these dance lessons are not only a great source of exercise but a great stress reducer. Everyone should try ballroom dancing with Ryan at least once.

Take one lesson and you will be hooked.

Even if you've never danced....

I had never danced before, but right from the beginning Ryan made me feel comfortable. His 'no-pressure' style of teaching along with his standards of professionalism make learning to dance fun and easy. I started private lessons with the Swing, the Rumba, and starting on the Cha-Cha, then joined a group lesson for the Salsa.

Both the private and the group lessons are so much fun. I'm amazed at how much I've learned in such a short time. I always look forward to the next lesson....

Best way to start!

I started with private lessons for Shag & Rumba. Then joined the group lessons.

All the lessons are easy and repetitive enough, you are comfortable with the dance and ready to move to the next step. A fun and entertaining way to exercise.

You will look forward to the next lesson. I always leave smiling.

Fun and easy!

We started with group lessons just weeks ago and already love it. Ryan's easy going style and great explanation makes all the difference!

After just one class we knew we had chosen the best. Try a class to find out that you can learn to dance!!!

Dancing with Ryan

I My husband and I took classes with Ryan and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We enjoyed learning the dance steps and had some favorites.

Ryan is very patient and always helpful. He makes sure everyone is comfortable and has a great time. Unfortunately we had to quit due to my husband's work hours and we both miss it.

Social Dancing Makes all the Difference

My wife and I started dancing with Ryan just a couple of months ago. Having had only one other experience with a dance instruction school (not a good one), I knew from the beginning that Ryan did things a little different. Rather than forcing us into following some set itinerary and then upselling us on more classes and private lessons, Ryan taught us what we wanted to learn in a fun, no-pressure environment. By the end of the first group class, we were comfortable dancing the basics to Shag.

Since then, we've learned several more dances (Swing, Rumba, Salsa, Foxtrot, Waltz), built numerous friendships, and turned dance night into date night. Great Job Ryan!
